Andrea Hall
Head Coach
Girls Varsity Cheerleading
Andrea Hall started her coaching career in 2001-02 working as a volunteer assistant coach at her alma mater, Blissfield High School. In 2003 she accepted the head varsity coach position at Montabella High School where she coached sideline and competitive cheer from 2003-2006. Coach Hall began her tenure at Shepherd High School in 2006 as both the varsity sideline and competitive cheer coach. Since 2006 she has witnessed major athletic transformations at SHS with the onset of new practice and competition facilities. Coach Hall and her competitive cheer teams have had two post season appearances at the Regional level in 2007-2008 and 2012-2013. Several of her teams have been awarded Academic All State honors by maintaining a cumulative team GPA of 3.0 or higher. Coach Hall organized Veterans Night in 2017 to recognize the military men and women of the community during a home varsity football game. That event has grown over the years to include a tailgate with complimentary food from local merchants, vendors, military branches, radio personalities, artwork from elementary students, music from the SHS Band and most importantly, a memorable evening for our Veterans. Coach Hall is a member of the Shepherd Sports Boosters, where she is a founding member of the Bluejay Booster Bash Committee, which organizes the groups major yearly fundraiser. In addition to her coaching ties in Shepherd, she is an elected member of the Competitive Cheer Coaches Association of Michigan (CCCAM) as the Region 4 Representative, which covers the geographic area from Isabella County to the Mackinaw Bridge. Coach Hall has been a member of CCCAM since 2006 and a board member since 2017. Outside of cheerleading, Coach Hall is married, has three children and resides in Mt. Pleasant.
